We, who are shouldering the noble task of building a society full of virtues, strive to create a generation with knowledge, attitude and skills of all the sons and daughters we send to the society. In that journey, the skills demonstrated by the children in the learning process as well as in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities should be evaluated. It will undoubtedly be a great help to their life path. Because of this, today the Sinhala section of the college organizes programs such as the Sinhala Literature Society, the annual art day (for high school students) and the section meeting for every grade, providing an opportunity for children to showcase their talents. Also, necessary steps have been taken to develop children's language and speaking skills through associations such as speech association and debate group. A literacy program is also implemented for children with weak literacy and in the last few years necessary steps have been taken to maintain the results of G.E.C.
Appreciating the language ability of the girls in the school and the skills they have shown by organizing such rains, I wish all the girls who will receive prizes and certificates in the annual prize ceremony.
